This summer, I had a chance to put together a "Christian Weddings" samples playlist of my playing on Youtube for couples in need of music for a church-based ceremony. I love playing for church weddings as much as I love playing for civil weddings.
In a recent wedding experience, the couple held their reception at the parish hall, after holding their ceremony at the church. They graciously invited me to join their wedding celebration, which touched my heart, and I was happy and humbled to be a part of their special day after my cantoring and playing for their wedding ceremony.
Playing in churches for weddings has its own set of variables. Often, I find myself playing on an organ; however, I am also happy to play on pianos available at churches, or on both the organ and piano.
