Marcheselli Wedding Music

Classical & Contemporary Music for Weddings

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the official website for Marcheselli Wedding Music, a musical service founded in 2018 by myself, Isabel Marcheselli, a singer and musician based in Westfield in western Massachusetts.

The mission of Marcheselli Wedding Music is to enhance the romantic, magical and exciting moments of a wedding through the power of live music.  As a soloist, I am happy to provide live instrumental and vocal music for civil and ecumenical wedding ceremonies, and I can also play for wedding cocktail hours and sit-down receptions upon request.  My primary instruments are the piano and voice and my secondary instrument is the organ.

The kind of music that I provide for wedding ceremonies can vary from classical, sacred and traditional music that is most often played at traditional weddings to contemporary musical pieces such as pop/top 40 music, music by modern composers, eclectic requests, and more.

A little more about me is that my public performance career spans more than twenty years since its beginning in New York City.  My musical studies were done at Mannes School of Music and at Hunter College, as a second-degree music major at the latter college.  I am also a singer and cantor certified by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians with years of professional experience providing instrumental and vocal music for churches in New England and New York.

On this page below, you can find out more details about my services, check out music samples in the form of videos and audio recordings, blog entries, and review the FAQ section that can show you what steps to take next toward a booking.  Thank you for your interest.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Services offered

Currently, I specialize in providing instrumental and vocal music for wedding ceremonies, though due to demand, I am now also available to play for wedding cocktail hours and receptions.

It would be my delight and honor to team up with you to plan a wonderful musical set for your wedding ceremony and more.  I am willing to learn new music and am happy to accommodate requests.  To date, I have served a wide range of requests for ceremony music, including selections by artists such as Billie Eilish, John Legend, Liszt, the Beach Boys, Christina Perri, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and even Japanese anime music.  In addition, l can sing vocals in other languages (such as Spanish, French, and Latin) where needed.  I can also readily improvise upon lyrical, romantic melodies during your ceremony.

If your venue does not have a piano readily available, I will gladly supply my own portable piano/keyboard and amplifier to your site.  My husband, Gino, is my music studio assistant and sometimes also my roadie!

Above all, Marcheselli Wedding Music aims to please by teaming up with you to create a beautiful, memorable, and exciting tapestry of live music for your big day.  You can choose from a range of my services below:

Frequently answered questions

Do you play the organ?

Yes, I have played the organ for wedding ceremonies and am regularly hired to play the organ for worship services in Massachusetts and beyond.  I have sung and played on all kinds of organs at churches for years.

Would you also sing for my wedding ceremony?

I would be very happy to sing for your wedding ceremony at any point (or points) in time needed during your wedding. If you need a cantor for a church wedding, I am a cantor certified by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians and have sung for wedding Masses and am familiar with wedding hymns.

What kind of music have you sung for weddings?

I have sung nuptial hymns, such as "Love Divine, Loves Excelling," at weddings, as well as the “Panis Angelicus,” and more.

Can I make special requests for certain pieces, and are you willing to learn new songs?

Absolutely!  I am happy to accommodate, to the fullest extent possible, all kinds of wedding requests, including Disney music, the latest pop/top 40 hits, movie music, Broadway, duets, and more.  Your booking as far ahead as possible is always appreciated, especially if you would like me to learn new music for your wedding.

The venue doesn't have a piano. Can you bring a keyboard?

I would be happy to bring my digital portable piano keyboard and amplifier to your wedding venue.

Where can I listen to more samples of your wedding music?

I appreciate your interest in my work!  Though my active musical performances and teaching schedule limit my presence on Instagram, I invite you to explore my growing library of music samples on YouTube.  So please visit my YouTube channel @theredroselisteningroom, which features a sampling of classical and contemporary music that I play.  As a side note, if you need sacred music for a wedding, I have an additional YouTube channel featuring highlights of my work playing sacred music: @marchesellimusicministry.  Please keep in mind that these channels offer only a small sampling of the vast repertoire of music I can play for your wedding, especially since I am willing to learn new music for weddings.

We are not sure yet, but we might need you to play for the wedding rehearsal as well.  Could that be possible?

That would depend on your rehearsal's time and location, and I would be glad to discuss this possibility with you.

Can you play piano music for my wedding cocktail hour or reception?

Would love to!  Choose from a purely classical cocktail hour or a versatile mix of pop, classical, and jazz (including romantic jazz) standards.

How does it all usually work?

The bride/groom/wedding planner usually tells me what they most need played, whether for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, or both, and I learn the music and play it for the wedding.  I will be glad to assist you with choosing complementary musical selections to the music you most need to have played.

Can you be booked at the last minute?

I understand that while planning wedding music well in advance (such as three to six months out) is optimal for all planners, it's not always possible.  Sometimes, brides and grooms need to take an express track for their booking. Please kindly check my availability, as I keep a busy calendar of musical engagements between weddings.

What would be the next step to take?

Be welcome to ask about my availability by reaching out to me here.  I would be happy to hear from you and guide you from there.
