Hello and thank you for visiting this page dedicated to music ministry on my artist's website! Music ministry has a special place in my heart and I am always happy and honored to be of musical assistance at worship services.
To tell you a little about myself and my musical background, I am a native of New York who lives in Westfield and I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences. Musically-speaking, in addition to private lessons, I was trained at Cornell, Mannes School of Music, and Hunter College.
As a multi-instrumentalist, my primary instruments used for church services are voice and piano, and my secondary instruments are the organ and rhythm guitar. I also have tertiary instruments that I enjoy playing just for pleasure and good measure!
I am a certified cantor accredited by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. Additionally, I speak Spanish and French, and can sing in these languages (including Latin) for worship services, and have funeral and wedding cantoring and playing experience.
I am happy to offer choral conducting support as needed as I have studied choral conducting with James Jordan at Westminster Choir College and maestro Harold Rosenbaum. In addition, I have solid experience leading children's choirs in formal church settings while having served as a music teacher for a Catholic school.
For years, I was the main music minister as a cantor and pianist/organist at Holy Family Church in the Archdiocese of Springfield, MA. Currently, I am the regular worship pianist for a Baptist church in western Massachusetts.
As time goes on, it continues to be my pleasure to provide musical support as a musician on call to Christian churches of diverse denominations in Western Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont and New York.
I am also ready, willing and able to be of assistance to provide music for weddings, funerals, retreats, charismatic events and much more and can sub on short notice. Throughout the year, I keep a lively schedule of musical engagements in between church services.
