I am excited to start this new blog today because I wish to share a bit more about my thoughts and reflections on music ministry and faith.

In my kick-off post, I will write about why I love the hymn, “Now Thank We All Our God.”  

This Christian hymn is so beautiful to me because I think that, in thanking God for all His blessings, we put ourselves in a positive frame of mind and realize that He is the giver of every good gift.  No matter how generous our family, friends, and associates are, God is, ultimately, the source of all of our blessings, and He works in His mysterious ways through whom He chooses to work.

I also love how this song raises our hearts to sing about gratitude.  It seems like such a fitting hymn at the end of a worship service, reflecting all the ways we were touched by God and felt Him speak to us throughout the service.
