Something about the piano makes it built to play the most romantic music ever imagined.  

Having the widest sonic pitch range of all instruments, it is such an orchestral instrument that can evoke such emotions in me as the player and in listeners.  The middle and highest pitch ranges can evoke such moments of tenderness and sensitivity, and the lower and lowest pitches coax such rich harmonies in support of beautiful melodies played on the piano.  

I love how beautiful arrangements of music by composers from all time periods are set to music on the piano.  It can be thrilling to play music on the piano from composers ranging from Tchaikovsky to Yiruma and John Legend. There is so much emotive, romantic music that the piano was made to play, and it makes it so perfect as an instrument to be played live at weddings.
