Eight Years in Business this Year

This year, Marcheselli Wedding Music will joyfully celebrate its eighth anniversary.

On this special occasion, Marcheselli Wedding Music reaffirms its mission to partner up with brides, grooms, and wedding planners to provide beautiful music for weddings.

In the past year, I have been delighted to have officially expanded to include music for cocktail-hour receptions in addition to ceremonies.  It feels so appropriate to do this for several reasons.  Firstly, I already have a large collection of music accumulated over the years for weddings, and secondly, I am open to learning new music upon request, which has continued to add to my growing library.  Thirdly, I find wedding music to be endlessly fascinating as a genre in and of itself.  Fourthly, my offerings have expanded to include romantic jazz for cocktail hours, in addition to pop and classical music.

If I had to do a year-in-review so far, it's been thrilling to play duets with other musicians, including an oboist and a violinist, for wedding ceremonies, whether we have rehearsed live or online beforehand.  As I have always played the piano from the beginning as an accompaniment instrument to my voice, and later to choirs and other instrumentalists, I have cultivated a strong sense of accompaniment and responsiveness to other players.

I am looking forward to serving a colorful spectrum of brides, grooms, and their guests in the times ahead.
