It's a big day up ahead for “Josefina!"
Fresh out of the mastering studio, my first official single release in years, “Josefina (Jazz Arrangement),” will land on all music platforms worldwide, including Spotify, on June 17th (or thereabouts).
First released in 2008 on my band's self-entitled album, Isabel and The Whispers, this is my song arranged for jazz piano by Argentinian artist, Francisco Peragallo. It was an exciting adventure to team up with him to give jazz fans their own taste of “Josefina" in a solo piano offering that departs from the traditional jazz trio.
What I love most about this arrangement is that while it offers a fresh take on “Josefina,” it stays wholly faithful to my song's spirit and melodic structure.
